Bob Gold
Agent
Hey, I am Robert “Bob” Gold, Sales Associate, with Feels Like Home Realty. I have been married for 45 years, hope I got that right, to Pat Gold. I spent 36 years employed with Westlake Chemical in Calvert City and my wife, Pat, was a teacher and elementary school principal.
We have one son, Brian. Brian is married to Amanda Miller Gold and they have two wonderful kids, Landri, 6, and Ledge 7 months. Brian and Amanda and our grandchildren live just west of Salt Lake City, Utah. Brian is a design engineer with Hoyt Archery and Amanda is a speech pathologist specializing in early childhood intervention.
Around 1993 my brother, Bill, and I purchased our first house to remodel and sell. Shortly after selling that house we purchased and began developing 88 acres on Hwy 408 West of Benton into a residential subdivision. We built a spec house, purchased another house to finish and sell and then purchased and developed another 77 acres in the Fairdealing Area. During this time, I finished my course work for my Real Estate license and sat for the Real Estate exam in Nashville. At that time, I placed my real estate license in Escrow until I retired from Westlake in 2017.
Around 2012, I purchased 90 acres and a house in Crittenden County to develop into a hunting farm. I proceeded to develop the property, prepping and seeding food plots, adding an orchard, and putting in a pond. I also remodeled the house. I sold this farm in 2020.
The most recent development with my brother was 5 lots and a community dock on Kentucky Lake. I successfully negotiated the community dock permit with TVA. No small task in this day and time.
I say all this to simply let you know that if you want personalized service when buying or selling real estate please contact me. Let me put my extensive experience to work for you. Especially if you are buying or selling land, give me a call at 270-205-6626. Let me evaluate your property and develop a marketing plan. According to the location of the property it could be marketed as an agricultural tract, hunting farm, but it may also be in an area ready for residential and/or commercial development and it should be marketed as such. Again, whether you eventually use me or not please give me a call at 270-205-6626 to discuss your property and all it’s potential.
